Job Description
We’re a local (Melbourne based) tech startup working on innovative solutions in the data and AI space. We’re looking for a motivated university student to support our engineering team with hands-on projects in data pipelines, machine learning model development, and AI experimentation.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines (e.g., using Python, SQL, or cloud tools)
Support machine learning and AI model prototyping
Clean, transform, and analyze datasets
Contribute to technical documentation and experimentation logs
Learn fast and work collaboratively with the founding team
What We’re Looking For:
Currently studying Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with Python and basic ML concepts (e.g., scikit-learn, Pandas)
Curious, self-driven, and comfortable in a start-up environment
Bonus: Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) or tools like Git
