Mobile Arts Workshop Facilitator

Job Description
Key tasks include:
• Picking up workshop materials and transporting them to each location
• Setting up the workspace (tables, resources, examples, activity zones)
• Facilitating a fun, structured art session using Colourgyp’s lesson plans
• Engaging children with clear instructions, encouragement, and positive energy
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive environment
• Packing down materials and returning them after the session
• Representing the Colourgyp brand professionally
Requirements:
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Driver’s licence and reliable car for travel between centres
• Confident communicating with children and educators
• Punctual, organised, and comfortable working independently
• Availability during school hours and school-holiday periods
• No formal art qualifications required; training provided
Role details:
• Casual, flexible sessions suited to students.
• Monday - Friday’s between 9 - 4pm
• Workshops run across Sydney; travel required
• All lesson plans, activities, and materials supplied
• Typical session: 45 min setup → 1.5 hr workshop → 45 min pack down (1-2 sessions a day)
Rates:
$50 p/h to assist (with someone else facilitating)
$75 p/h to facilitate ($50 travel fee included when travel is over 1 hour)
