Casual Groundsperson at Royal Canberra Golf Club (Yarralumla, Canberra)

Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Casual Groundsperson to join our Maintenance Team for the summer season between December and April. If you are reliable, motivated and keen to learn, we encourage you to apply. No experience is required; full training is provided.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Greens mowing
• Raking bunkers
• General horticultural maintenance

The successful candidate should:
• Be willing and self-motivated
• Take pride in their work
• Understand workplace safety and PPE
• Have experience with tools and equipment (desired, not essential)
• Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Be physically fit to meet the demands of the role
• Hold a valid driver licence and have access to a reliable vehicle to travel to work
• Have full working rights in Australia
• Follow procedures and work programs

Position details:
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 0530 to 1030
• $32.31 per hour, including casual loading
• Uniform and PPE provided
