Are you an energetic and charismatic individual looking for an exciting new role in the tourism industry? Look no further than Dig IT, Australia's first mini excavator park for kids! We are seeking awesome individuals to join our team to ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and assist participants in the operation of the 1.7T mini excavators to ensure safety and proper use of the equipment.
Provide clear and concise instructions to participants to ensure they get the most out of the experience.
Monitor the activity areas and respond promptly to any safety concerns or issues that arise.
Bring the experience to life with your vibrant personality and strong communication skills
Contribute to a fun and inclusive team environment

Requirements:

Charismatic and energetic personality with strong communication skills
Experience in a customer-facing role preferred
Passionate about delivering a world-class experience to guests and team members
Trustworthy and reliable
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
Safety Focused
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions and procedures
Please note that Dig IT will be open only on weekends and school holidays. There will be some mid-week work for group bookings. The successful candidate will need to have availability on weekends and during school holidays.

This is a casual role at a recreational facility unlike anything else in Australia. Located within the renowned surrounds of Thunderbird Park on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland, you'll have the opportunity to work outdoors with a committed team who thrive off each other's energy, creating an environment that is inclusive, diverse, safe, caring, focused, and most importantly, fun!

No equipment experience is required for this role. We provide full training on all of the machines and equipment used at Dig IT, so you'll be fully equipped to supervise each activity and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
