Are you looking for an inspiring part-time job that you can do in your term breaks and after Uni class hours? Are you a reliable go-getter with a passion for robotics, space and technology, or are keen to learn? Do you want to earn $1,000+ for 24 hours of work in a week?
Actura Australia is looking for Melbourne-based university students to become Course Leaders of our CASE FlipRobot Academy (CFA) program, to teach small classes of 9-13 year-old students the exciting and innovative robotics curriculum. Each course is made up of 24 hours of interactive fun teaching, experiments and challenges, either taught consecutively over 5 days in term breaks, or over several weeks as an after-school class.

In addition to after-school classes, the CFA program will run in VIC school term breaks, as shown below. You are welcome to apply if you are available for one, some, or all of the term breaks!
VIC Public School Term Breaks (2023):
Spring holidays
Monday 18 September to Friday 29 September 2023
Summer holidays
Thursday 21 December 2023 to Monday 29 January 2024
Ideally you are:
● Passionate about the future; robotics, tech, sustainability, education, space– or, very eager to learn!
● Tech savvy - nothing crazy required, but need to be able to confidently use PowerPoint, learn simple coding software, and help to troubleshoot issues with wifi and bluetooth connectivity.
● Comfortable in presenting/teaching/public speaking (previous experience would be highly regarded!)
● Confident in interacting with kids (don’t worry, the students on this course want to be there, so there are not many trouble-makers to deal with!)
● The proud owner of a Growth Mindset – you’re always ready to learn new skills, digest new information, problems and challenges.
● Reliable - when you commit to something, you stick to it!
● Have the right to live and work in Australia.
● Have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or be able to acquire one.
