Job Description
NP Tutoring, a leading provider of high school and ATAR tutoring, is seeking passionate and supportive tutors to join our team. If you have a strong academic background, exceptional subject knowledge, and a desire to make a positive impact on students' educational journeys, we invite you to apply for our tutor positions. This position doesn't require any previous experience and first time tutors are welcome.
Position: High School and ATAR Tutors (Online and In-person) - Contract position.
Responsibilities:
-Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to high school students, primarily focusing on ATAR subjects.
-Create personalized learning plans tailored to each student's academic needs and goals.
-Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote a deep understanding of the subject matter.
-Foster a supportive and motivating learning environment to enhance student confidence and academic performance.
-Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track their development over time.
-Communicate with students if they have difficulties with studies via text.
-Collaborate with parents, teachers, and the NP Tutoring team to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to student learning.
Requirements:
-Strong academic background in high school subjects, with an ATAR of +95.00 or a university report with high distinction in relevant areas of study or a bachelor's degree in relevant areas of study.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning environment.
-Passionate about education and committed to the success of every student.
-Flexibility to accommodate both online and in-person tutoring sessions, based on student preferences and needs.
-Availability to tutor during after-school hours and possibly weekends.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree, or currently pursuing (required).
-Drivers licence (required).
-Working with children's check, or application in process (required).
Location:
-Online.
-At a local library.
-At clients' homes.
