Position: Startup Project Coordinator
Organization: Global Justice Incorporated (no website yet)
Location: Online, flexible
Hours: 8 to 14 hours per week
Salary: Depending on experience, minimum starting wage is $25 per hour

We are a new, dynamic and visionary organization committed to promoting transparency, fighting corruption, and protecting human rights worldwide. Our organization has been at the forefront of recognizing and supporting individuals and groups who have demonstrated outstanding efforts in tackling corruption and promoting human rights. Our two directors are experienced lawyers, professors and entrepreneurs who’ve worked for international courts, organisations and universities throughout the world. Job Description:

As a Business Student, you will play a crucial role in growing and strengthening our prestigious anti-corruption and human rights start-up. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the directors to develop innovative strategies to expand the reach and impact of the anti-corruption and human rights work. This will include a variety of startup-type activities, some of which are detailed here.

2. Social Media Strategy: Help develop and implement an effective social media strategy to enhance our organization's online presence and engage with a broader audience. You'll assist overseeing social media accounts, tracking performance to optimising our reach and impact.

3. Website Strategies: Although we have a private firm in charge of web development, you will assist in developing web strategies, including providing feedback on website design, liaising with web developers and managing changes to the website.

4. Financial Administration: Assist in managing budgets for different aspects of our organisation’s work, ensuring financial transparency and accountability. This includes invoicing funders, paying bills and updating financial databases.

5. Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform our organisation’s positioning and identify opportunities for growth. Under the guidance of our directors, you will acquire a keen understanding of aspects of these fields.

6. Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of major international events related to human rights and anti-corruption work, including award ceremonies and networking gatherings in different parts of the world. Some travel may be possible.

7. General administrative assistance: Coordinate administrative work involved in running the day-to-day operations of the company with other team members and external collaborators as the company grows.


Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

2. Passionate about human rights, social justice, and combatting corruption on a global scale.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

5. High degree of technological proficiency in a range of area a plus, including in website development software, social media platforms and project management suites.

6. Demonstrated experience or a keen interest in developing social media strategies and managing social media accounts.

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently and with close attention to detail.

8. Previous experience in business administration, marketing, fundraising, or event planning a plus.

9. Outstanding administrative skills. Fast, responsive, efficient and timely.
