Barista/all Rounder

Brooklyn Boy Bagels, the producer of Australia's best and most authentic bagels, is seeking a talented Barista/All-rounder to join our amazing team at Surry Hills. The right candidate will need a minimum of 1-year experience as a barista/all-rounder in Australia.

Duties to include:
- Welcoming customers with a positive and helpful attitude, taking their orders and handling payments
- Preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, alternative brews (batch brew, cold brew, etc) and speciality drinks
- Serving additional beverages, including tea, hot chocolate and frozen drinks
- Helping the cafe team prepare sandwiches, when required
- Keeping coffee-making equipment clean throughout the day and following a procedure to thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day
- Replenishing shelves and fridges with items such as baked goods, snacks and bottled drinks
- Training new employees on how to operate equipment and prepare different drinks

This is for a casual role, with have permanent roles available for talented staff who wish to grow with us.

Salary: $26.14 – $36.21 per hour (Sunday rate)

We have weekday and weekend shifts available, with preference given to staff who are available for at least one weekend shift per week.
