Apply for the AIME Next Steps Program assisting recent graduates and current events students to make connections, gain valuable work experience and experience what it's like to be on the frontline of Asia Pacific’s leading tradeshow for the business events industry.
The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) is a multi-award winning event with a 30-year legacy. AIME is where meetings and events professionals, VIPs and stakeholders connect with leading destinations, venues and event suppliers from all around the world. With a focus on producing meaningful business outcomes, innovative solutions and inspiring delegates to advance their personal and professional development, AIME has become the must-attend event for Asia Pacific’s business events community. Oh and the Welcome Event is legendary!
Dates: 12 - 22 February 2024 (work days are Mondays - Thursdays)

Program Overview
Week 1: Monday 12 - Thursday 15 February is our ‘O week’ - where you will work alongside AIME’s Event Coordinator in the lead up to bump-in. You will meet the AIME Team, connect with your fellow 'Next Steppers', learn all about the tech systems that make AIME Australia's #1 tradeshow and gain valuable skills assisting in the lead up to the pre-show briefing and bump-in.
AIME's bump-in takes place Saturday, 17 and Sunday, 18 February. We understand 'Next Steppers' may still need to juggle their work commitments. You are more than welcome to come and help out on the Saturday and Sunday, but it is not expected.
Week 2: Monday 19 – Thursday 22 February is ‘showtime’. As well as assisting with registration and badge scanning, you will get to shadow each member of the AIME Team to gain a well-rounded understanding of all the components that bring AIME together. You will be meeting and assisting representatives of over 500 exhibiting companies and 600 high profile event planners from around the world, along with an anticipated 3,500 visitors. You will have the opportunity to attend the AIME Knowledge Program sessions, dance the night away at AIME's Welcome Event and participate in a Q & A session with AIME's 'Rockets' gaining useful insight into how they bridged the gap between graduating and getting their 'foot in the door' of the events industry.
You will need your own Laptop and smart phone device.
