Marketing Assistant (On Site)
Operating for over 30 years, this boutique manufacturing business is seeking a dedicated Marketing Assistant currently studying in their final year of an undergraduate degree in a Bachelor of Marketing to join the friendly office team situated in Seventeen Mile Rocks, in Brisbane’s western suburbs on a casual basis. The candidate will be required 8-14 hours a week, with flexibility of hours & days to suit the candidate’s university schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful marketing candidate will be a jack of all trades in the marketing space. Able to pivot from the likes of search engine optimization, media content creation, email campaigns, to online user interaction & growth. The Marketing Assistant will report to the general manager and will be responsible for duties including:
• Website content updates and search engine optimization
• Email marketing campaigns on sender
• Monitor and increase the efficiency of Google AdWords
• Development and delivery of digital and social media strategies and plans particularly across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook & Pinterest
• Promoting the business via digital streams
• Brochure design and creation
• Maintain a marketing month by month calendar for scheduling
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by senior staff
Skills and Experience
• Google analytics & AdWords experience
• Relevant digital marketing/social media experience
• Experience with Wix, Canva & Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest ads & analytics
• Ability to show month by month results
• strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
