Warehouse Casual

MacGear Group is a leading technology distribution business with offices in Australia and New Zealand and we are currently looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistants to join our team in our Dandenong warehouse as casual employees.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring speed and accuracy
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Maintain the warehouse to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Assist with inventory counts as required
• Communicate with team members and management regarding inventory levels
• Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor such as rework eg stickering, reboxing of product or receipting and putaway of inbound goods

Requirements:
• Previous experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred but not essential
• NetSuite knowledge would be advantageous.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts (advantageous) and pallet jacks (training offered if required).
• Good computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

Hours of work can be discussed to suit the right candidate, however our standard hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7am-3pm and we are ideally looking for someone who can work a minimum of 2-3 days per week with at least one of them being a Monday or Tuesday. Additional seasonal work may also be available during holiday periods.
