Job Description

The Role:

As an Assistant Payment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the onboarding of Payment Service Providers (PSPs), contributing to system integration tasks, handling incidents, and collaborating with various teams. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to work closely with the Legal, IT, and Finance teams while gaining exposure to the dynamic field of payment services.

Any visa with work rights must be eligible to work in Australia. Remote work is also accepted. Availability to travel is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

PSP Onboarding assistance:
Collaborate with the Legal team to assist in onboarding new Payment Service Providers.
Provide timely responses to queries and gather required information, supporting the Legal team as needed.
Collect and compile required information from PSPs, ensuring it aligns with legal and compliance standards.
System Integration Support:
Work on assigned PSP system integration tasks to support the PSP and Finance teams.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly the IT team, to address concerns and ensure smooth integration progress.
Computer Research and Testing:
Work on assigned PSP competitor research and testing, providing valuable insights to enhance PSP performance.
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
PSP Maintenance and Incidents:
Handle PSP maintenance tasks and document any incidents, outages, or disruptions in payment systems.
Collaborate with the technical team to resolve incidents promptly and implement preventive measures.
Documentation and Training:
Document PSP-related events, system changes, and integration processes for internal reference.
Develop user guides and training materials for internal teams to use integrated systems effectively.
Reports and Communications:
Prepare regular PSP reports and incident reports for presentation to stakeholders
Reconciliation Support:
Assist with reconciliation tasks as needed, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial processes.

What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Fluency in Japanese or Chinese language (spoken & written)
A proactive, practical, and well-organized approach, with attention to detail and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Ability to work independently whenever required
Advanced mathematical reasoning
Interest/passion in the forex industry/payments is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Excel and quicksight is a plus
