The Company
The Pool Tile Company is a well established and dynamic business importing and supplying quality natural stone, porcelain and mosaic products. We offer the broadest selection of tiles for pool and outdoor surrounds on the market in Qld.
We are looking for a Casual Forklift driver and General Hand.
This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and responsibilities include:
-Unloading containers and checking contents against manifest/quality standards
-Forklift operation
-Stacking items in allocated locations
-Accurately picking and packing orders and labeling crates
-Following dispatch systems and procedures
-Operating in accordance with Safe Operating Principles and Procedures
-Cleaning and tidying the site.
You will need to have:
- A Forklift license
- Forklift driving experience
An excellent work ethic and proven punctuality and attendance
- Prior warehousing experience would be an advantage
-Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices (including manual handling techniques as lifting is required)
-You also must be able to distinguish colours in the full colour spectrum
From time to time warehouse staff handle face-to-face inquiries from customers collecting stock, so a friendly manner is important.
We have shifts available between 6.00 am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday and some weekend work on occasion.
