We are expanding our team of MIGHTY MENTORS!
If you are someone that thrives on improving the life of others then we want to hear from you. We are seeking FUN and APPROACHABLE mentors to provide disability support to our participants on the NDIS to support them to achieve their goals.
ABOUT US
Mighty Mentors are a new and exciting disability service provider in Perth, providing 1:1 mentoring and community participation programs and camps that promote social skills and engagement, building and maintaining relationships and the development of daily living skills.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking to recruit mentors that are passionate, compassionate, approachable and possess the necessary life skills to mentor our participants and guide them towards achieving their goals.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
Essential criteria include:
-Must have unrestricted drivers licence
-Must have Working with children check (or be willing to obtain)
-Must have first aid (or be willing to obtain
ABOUT THE ROLE
Tasks can include but is not limited to:
-Building the person's capacity within the home such as domestic tasks, organisation, and meal preparation etc
-Supporting with community participation and building the person's capacity in the community such as transport training, budgeting and money handling, and social skills
-Supporting with employment and volunteering exploration and on the job support
-Supporting with 1:1 School holiday and group camps with various physical activities planned
