About VIP support
We are an NDIS service provider based in Melbourne. We focus on providing support for clients who need a personal touch rather than just punching the clock. Our focus in on those who just need that little bit extra to engage with or move around the community.
Most of our clients are matched long term with regular service on an agreed schedule. They are adult clients without high-risk conditions. We aim to improve their quality of life and engagement with community and to work towards as close as they can get to independence in their daily lives.

Located in the Cranbourne area our client is a highly functioning gentleman who likes most sports, especially AFL! He has a healthy sense of humor and likes to joke. He needs assistance in travelling to sports training sessions and a buddy to hang out with him on some social outings just to make sure nothing gets forgotten at the location and he doesn’t potentially get overcharged when making purchases, etc.
General duties and responsibilities (This and other opportunities)
• Assisting participants with everyday life tasks: e.g. Shopping, Meal preparation, Vacuuming, hanging laundry, travel to attend medical appointments.
• Daily personal hygiene and dressing assistance in a supportive and comfortable manner.
• Strong verbal communication skills with clear speech
• Supporting participants' community involvement and networking opportunities such as: engaging in their leisure or sports activities, visiting social interest clubs or attending courses.
Requirements
• Current driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Calm & encouraging demeanor.
• Able to work independently or collaborate with other caregivers
• Willingness to listen and communicate patiently
• A Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
• Manual handling training (or willing to obtain)
• Full Covid 19 Vaccination (Official certificate required)
