Casual Container Unloader

Australian Container Unloading Group (acug.com.au) is a National Industry Leader in shipping container loading and unloading operations.

We offer flexible hours and working days, and the opportunity to earn good money in a short periods of time.

The payment scheme is PIECE RATE (paid per container unloaded). Please note you will only be expected to travel to work close to home within 30 minutes drive.

This is a high paced, repetitive, manual labour role. It is a tough job and applicants will be required to be fit, reliable, have your own transport, and to work with a sense of urgency. However, if a person is capable to meet those working demands, the benefits working for ACUG for individuals studying at university are truly attractive.

Current Drivers licence and own reliable transportation (essential) Previous experience in shipping container unloading / labouring (desirable) Current High Risk forklift licence (desirable but not essential) PPE (steel cap boots / hi vis shirt) Good literacy and numeracy skills A sense of urgency and good reliability Can do attitude

This work is paid PIECE RATE per container and gives you the opportunity to earn higher wages. Please note that you will require a strong work ethic and sense of urgency to succeed in this job.
