Swan Hill District Hospital’s (SHDH’s) busy People and Culture department is undergoing significant change which provides the opportunity for new incumbents to shape the direction of the department, whilst working in a friendly, supportive and collaborative environment.
Operational Director, People and Culture (full time)
Support SHDH’s leaders to develop the culture and systems to flourish and contribute to their full potential and advance key people strategies including attraction/retention, reward and recognition and wellbeing and engagement; take ownership of the strategy while being across the day to day details.
About the Role:
Organisational-wide focus contributing to strategic and operational priorities
Medium, complex organisation with a deep commitment to the community
Strategic and trusted advice to the Senior Leadership Team to achieve positive
organisational outcomes
Manage a range of special projects as they arise
About you
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Transferrable experience from driving strategic and operational elements
Professional ability to execute the competing demands of the role
Outstanding communication skills and a proven service-delivery ethos are essential, combined with the abilities to influence, think innovatively, and exercise effective judgment within a dynamic environment.
People and Culture Advisor (full time)
Reporting to the Operational Director, People and Culture the People and Culture Advisor will manage a variety of HR related tasks, including:
Support the development and implementation of relevant strategy to facilitate positive
staff engagement and mitigate organisational risk
Provide coaching and mentoring on people, culture, industrial relations and
organisational development issues
Provide professional, timely and relevant advice/interpretation on a range of HR
matters, including enterprise agreements, legislative conditions
Provide full HR generalist support
About you
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or a recent Graduate in Human
Resource Management
Ability to work in a changing work environment and demonstrate flexibility and
problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to review, develop and implement system/process improvements
Committed to a continuous improvement ethos Inclusive Compassionate Progressive
Accountable
