Job Description
• Port of Brisbane location
• On-site parking
• Flexible hours and days available – Casual or part-time
OSS World Wide Movers is a rapidly growing international relocation company. This is a privately owned and operated business who care about our people and clients.
We currently have various positions available in our safe, clean and friendly warehouse to meet your flexibility needs with your study commitments.
Key Role Tasks –
• Assisting with loading vehicles on the afternoon prior to deliveries and assist with unloading upon their return to the depot
• Completing all paperwork generated in the warehouse particularly in relation to the position in of goods, tallying in and out etc.
• Maintaining and be vigilant regarding yard and warehouse security at all times
• Maintaining WH&S at high standard at all times
• Assisting with smooth conduct of all activities within the warehouse including unloading and loading containers
• Monitoring collections or deliveries from 3rd party carriers or clients and ensure tallied into store or out of store correctly with appropriate paperwork completed
• Ensure that warehouse is maintained in tidy and orderly condition and that goods are appropriately stored and not left loose in warehouse
• Ensure dress standards are maintained and in accordance with OSS regulations
• Assist with warehouse functions as required or as directed by Warehouse Manager
Key Skills Needed –
Warehousing background preferable, and some exposure to the removals industry highly regarded. Other requirements include –
1. Minimum car licence, MR preferred also
2. Good level of physical fitness
3. The ability to communicate and follow work direction
4. Prepare paperwork neatly and accurately
5. Forklift license highly regarded, not necessary
6. Strong attention to detail
7. Strong organization skills
Full on the job training will be provided!
