Lessons Australia is an educational organisation that connects students of all ages with quality one-on-one and/or group tuition. Our experienced and enthusiastic Australian educators deliver both local and online lessons/tutoring/coaching to students nationwide in the following fields:
- Academic
- Music
- Language
- Dance
- Performing Arts
- Visual Arts
- Culinary Arts
- Computing & Technology
- Sport & Fitness
- Health & Wellness
Student Tutoring Opportunities
We are currently looking for new tutors in all academic fields for local and/or online lessons. Tutors may elect to work in their chosen area/s of expertise with primary, secondary, tertiary and/or adult students. Our tutors enjoy a flexible arrangement where they can choose a range of working preferences to best support their needs.
Our tutors enjoy:
- The ability to teach locally (at the tutor’s location or student’s location) and/or provide online lessons to students nationwide.
- Flexible working hours to fit in with university classes and existing commitments/work.
- The ability to select a suitable rate of pay in accordance with experience and expertise. On average, our tutors earn between $30 - $70/hr.
- The ability to stipulate preferred ages taught and levels taught.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Tutors must be a citizen of Australia or be authorised to work in Australia.
- Whilst not mandatory, tutors are encouraged to hold a current Working with Children Check or recent Police Check.
- Be willing to teach for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and educating students.
- Must demonstrate an appropriate understanding of technology if electing to teach online.
