Job Description

We are searching childcare educators that fit into the culture of our wonderful vibrant team at our family owned centre at Turramurra on Sydney's upper north shore. The centre was purpose built 7 years ago so we benefit from lovely large rooms and natural outdoor environment with quality resources. We are a 0-5 years centre and are seeking casual educators who is prepared to work at the centre.

We are looking for like minded educators who share a similar philosophy to the service, who are passionate about supporting children to learn.

To be eligible for the position you need to:
- Hold an ACECQA approved qualification (ECT/diploma) or studying one of those qualifications (we would consider a certificate III educator willing to study their diploma - we can offer a diploma traineeship position).
- Hold a current working with children check
- Hold a safe food handling certificate (or willing to get one)
- Be a team player, professional, punctual, show initiative and are organised
- Be passionate about working with children and their families and committed to providing high quality care
- Have good communication skills getting down to the children's level
- Be an Australian Resident or hold a working visa for Australia (this is essential).

We are a small privately owned childcare centre located on Sydney's Upper North Shore. We are searching for dedicated and passionate educators, that fit into the culture, of our wonderful team at our family owned centre, Our centre is open from 7am till 6pm Monday to Friday with educators working an 8 hour shift on a rotating roster (so shift time changes each week). We are a close team with less experienced educators being mentored and supported as they contribute to the program and planning of the children at the service. Since opening 6 years ago we have built up a strong relationship with our families and local community.
