Commercial Laborer/ta (trainee) Civil/electrical

Haines Electrical are looking for a trainee, who is enthusiastic and willing to learn with a want to progress a career in Civil Grounds-work. An exciting opportunity to join us in a full-time working opportunity. You may already hold certificates in construction or some tickets and licenses, alternatively you will have a keen willingness and ability to progress and to gain those tickets/licenses in excavation work via company support.

This role will include:
- Loading and unloading equipment/materials for electricians on a commercial site
- Working to gain your licenses for excavation work (eventually using the
excavator- skid/steer machinery)
- Measuring and digging trenches by hand and machine, for laying electrical
conduit.
- Cleanup of site and equipment and be willing to work hard and get your hands
dirty.
- Drivers license and own transport to move around grounds work locations.

There will be plenty of support and training as you will be responsible to the Civil Supervisor.

Hourly rates $28-$32 per hour depending on experience.
