Up to $35.06 per hour + Super + Paid travel time + Fuel allowance

Summer work period:
Christmas casual work is available November 2022 through January 2023 (ongoing work available for those interested).

There are two role types available:

Domestic Assistant: Deliver domestic services to our clients including general housekeeping, making beds, vacuuming, laundry, shopping, and food preparation

Care Aide: Deliver health services to our clients including personal care, social support, respite care, home-exercise programs and occasional domestic assistance ,requires a Certificate III in health and/or Care or equivalent experience

Pay Rate:

Care Worker: $35.06 per hour casual
Domestic Assistant: $30.48 per hour casual
Plus Super
Plus travel allowance of $0.92 p k/m between jobs
Plus paid travel time between jobs
Plus weekend loading payrates of 50% more for Saturdays and 75% more for Sundays

Summer Break Shifts & Rosters:

There are casual opportunities available to suit your availability any day of the week. We are looking for applicants across WA including metro and regional areas, who can:

Domestic Assistant – work your preferred shifts each week, 2 days minimum / up to 5 days maximum, between the hours of: 9:00am – 3pm (Monday to Friday)
Care Aide - work your preferred shifts each week, 3 days minimum / up to 5 days maximum, between the hours of: 7:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
We welcome enquiries from those requiring half days or school hours for either role 
Minimum of 3 hours per shift guaranteed

About You
All successful candidates are required to demonstrate the following:

Experience in domestic work of any kind (professional or personal)
For Pesonal Care Work - Hold Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
Current Australian driver’s license
Registered Vehicle, suitable for work purposes
Pass a medical appraisal (known as FCT)
Pass a national police check (organised and paid for by Silverchain)
Based on Silverchain Policy and Government Directions, you will be required to provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 including booster, or evidence of a medical exemption in order to commence employment with Silver Chain.
