Accounts Payable Officer
The Company
E-Bisglobal is an innovative business leader, providing independent print management, marketing services, managed services, and warehousing & logistics solutions. We are a proud Aboriginal owned company with our head office located in Tuggerah on the Central Coast. We are seeking a hands on and detailed Accounts Payable Officer to join our small finance team. We are seeking a candidate with experience in the accounts payable function with experience with Xero and accounting principles. Consideration would also be given to university students who have completed, or nearly completed an Accounting related degree.
The role is a full-time, initial 3-month contract role. Consideration may also be given to applicants seeking part-time work.

The Role
The successful applicant will report to the Office Manager and be able to cope with multiple tasks and responsibilities consisting of, but not limited to:
Assist with regulatory returns (BAS & Payroll Tax Returns)
Completion of month end reports including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, general journal posting, prepayments and accruals in line with our deadlines
Preparation and submission of required information to external accountants for the FBT and income tax return
Ownership of fixed asset register
Transition the legacy financial system to XERO
Create XERO system rules to automate process
Liaise with external accounts and management team on project
Rationalise chart of accounts
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Control of cash management processes and prepare reports and provide recommendations to the business
Accounts Payable duties, including data entry and payment processing
Responsible for establishing accounting rules in Xero in conjunction with external accountants
Back-up for Accounts receivable function – invoicing, collections, cash allocations, bank reconciliations, receivable queries
Assist with reception duties, including being responsible for answering company calls
Co-ordination and handling shipping documentation, payments for customs etc.
General office administration back up
Other duties as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Experience in a general accounts or accounts payable function
Experience using Xero highly desirable
Strong numerical and analytical skills

Have exceptional customer service skills
Must have strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and willingness to assist in general reception or accounts functions
Ability to think clearly and work in a mature manner
