Sushi Production Team

Sushi Sushi Brisbane Airport requires experienced Sushi Production Rollers to join our team. You will prepare sushi rolls and dishes. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with a variety of sushi rolling, plating, and related cooking techniques and has experience working in a busy sushi environment. Advanced knife & cutting skills are a must. We expect our sushi rollers to be friendly and interact with the whole team, providing recommendations to the store manager.

Sushi Rollers Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare raw fish and other sushi ingredients
• Be able to produce 1200 rolls in 6 hours
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Coordinate with front of house staff to ensure an efficient flow of sushi
• Regularly take kitchen inventory
• Cooking and sushi-production experience minimum 1 year
• Food handler's certificate
• Knife skills
• Communication, time-management, and organizational abilities
• Weekend work required
• Availability to start work at 4:00am day shift
• Availability to finish work at 8:00pm night shift
• Pay rates to be negotiated

Please note: All successful candidates will be required to obtain a clear criminal history certificate, proof of COVID vaccine and undergo an ASIC security check in order to be able to work at the airport.
