Support Worker

We are a small company with a wealth of knowledge and are excited to announce we have a few openings for casual support workers as there is high demand for our services than we anticipated. This means we have a few openings to be part of a fun, devoted, supportive group that gets out into the community and do group activities folding incidental learning wherever we can.

We will train you in;
- Positive behavioural support techniques
-Aspect comprehensive approach,
-Behavioural management and crisis management
- AUSLAN

Being a part of the Independence and Beyond Support Services team is an excellent opportunity to craft and hone these skills/approaches.

No experience is necessary as training will be provided on the job. The ideal candidate will be in the healthcare field. Much of what YOU will take from this position can be translated into areas of other healthcare professions as well as other professions. Building up on customer relations, strengthening rapport, identifying positive routine based behaviours are great proxies for any career.

Starting rates: $28:95 +super, casual loading and weekend rates.

Reliable applicants that are willing to listen, be consistent, empathetic and congruent are what we are looking for.

Applicants much have:
First Aid and CPR.
Working with children Blue card.
Current Qld driver's licence.
Reliable personal car.
