Job Description
Would suit, students, part time workers. Learner drivers to get your hours & get paid at the same time!
SEPT 2023: REQUIREMENT: MUST HAVE A CAR THAT YOU CAN USE TO TAKE SETUPS TO EVENTS. Setups will fit in a Suzuki Swift, Sedans & 4 wheel drives. If you are not sure if you have a suitable car please include the make & model of the car when you apply for this work.
This is event work where you can either....
1) Work as a 2nd worker by meeting the experienced worker at the event location. Travel time is not paid if you are not bringing the setups to the event in your car.
2) You can come to either Annerley or Woody Point to load setups into your car to take to the event location, work the event & then come back to unload.
Payment
1) As a 2nd or 3rd worker you are paid for the event hours working & any unpacking, setting up & packing down as needed at each event... hourly rate which is currently $28/hr
2) If you are using your car to go to the event you are also paid for your travel time. This is currently paid at $26/hr from your loading location (either Annerley or WPt). Event hrs, any unpacking, setting up & packing down is paid at the event rate which is currently $28/hr. If using your own car we can pay as PAYG or ABN

Snowy Joey has been attending events in the Greater Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast areas for the past 17 years. We regularly attend events at Griffith Uni, UQ, Bunnings, QUT, Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast Hospital, numerous soccer and football clubs in the winter time including Nudgee College Home Game Days and fete's festivals and Christmas events in the summer.
Most of our events are handing Snow Cones, Fairy Floss & Popcorn FOR FREE to customers, although we do have some selling events. Full training is provided.
We do serve at many kids events so being social and liking to interact with kids would be useful.
Our products are easy to make and it's fun work!

We regularly attend events at Griffith Uni, UQ, Bunnings, QUT, Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast Hospital, numerous soccer and football clubs in the winter time and fete's festivals and Christmas events in the summer.
The events that we are booked to attend are mainly held on weekends but we do have some weekday work especially at Christmas time and during the Uni Open Days held a few times during the year.
