Junior Content Writer

We’re on the lookout for a student or recent graduate to join the JourneyOne team as a Content Writer for our SaaS product, Jibility.

Job Title: Junior Content Writer (Part-Time)

Location: West Perth (In-Person Role)

Job Type: Part-Time, fixed 2-month contract (TBC)

Salary: $25 per hour (TBC)

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Content Writer with a passion for creating engaging content for SEO. As a member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for carrying out competitor research and analysis, researching keywords to inform new content ideas, producing high-quality blog posts to drive traffic to our website and publishing, editing and maintaining content across our website. You will work closely with marketing team members to review and refine marketing strategies and conduct marketing experiments to increase overall traffic to our website.

Responsibilities:

• Research and create blog posts that align with our target audience and overall marketing strategy
• Optimize blog content for search engines through the use of keywords, meta descriptions, and other SEO best practices
• Write engaging, clear, and concise blog posts that effectively communicate our brand’s message
• Collaborate with team members to develop blog post ideas and ensure consistency in messaging and tone
• Support the marketing team in creating additional content across the website, including new pages and editing existing pages
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and updates to ensure our content is current and relevant
• Participate in brainstorming and review sessions to contribute new ideas and assess performance of previous marketing tests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, or a related field
• Proof of proficiency in creating engaging written content (previous assignments, previous published content on LinkedIn or other websites, social media accounts, etc.)
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Passion for technology and SaaS products is a plus

Jibility is a cloud-based tool for building strategic roadmaps that now has clients across the globe. We are entering a 12-month growth period and are looking to increase our marketing output.

The Jibility team are nimble, data-driven decision makers employing a collaborative approach to developing a comprehensive marketing strategy. We are looking for support in creating written content on our website that primarily aims to drive traffic to the site.
