About the Role

 

We are seeking for passionate and motivated team player to join our dynamic warehousing team as Warehouse Supervisor based in Fyshwick, ACT. This role presents a strong platform for a talented supply/warehouse professional seeking to enhance and build a successful career in the Airconditioning industry.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by coaching and developing warehouse employees in Dispatch, picking and inwards goods.
  • Ensuring processes and procedures are always adhered to, maintaining a high level of attention to detail during standard operations.
  • Leading by example in daily warehousing operations including loading and unloading goods, picking orders, replenishments, managing back-orders, invoicing, reconciling stock levels etc.
  • Guaranteeing high levels of housekeeping and that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy.
  • Being the welcoming face of the warehouse and engaging stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Ideally, we are seeking someone with exceptional common sense and a ‘can-do’ attitude, to work within a challenging yet rewarding industry.  To be successful in this role:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse operations role – having worked as a supervisor or within a leadership role would be an advantage.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are client/safety-focused and results-driven, you are confident and pleasant in interacting with customers and team members across the business.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • You’re a collaborative leader who loves to get your hands dirty alongside the warehouse team and lead by example.
  • You hold a current forklift license with a good driving record.
