Job Purpose/Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Technician of your region, you will be involved in every aspect of installing, removing and relocating ATM’s as well as ensuring we meet the service expectations of our customers

and the business as a whole.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Tasks:

· Installation, removal and relocations of ATM’s

· Transportation of ATMs and spare parts within region, reduction of transport costs and delivery times

· Preventative Maintenance and Refurbishment of complete ATMs of all makes and models with our

fleet

· Maintain small warehouse inventory

· Maintain small vehicle part inventory

· Attend call outs that are allocated from scheduling desk during service hours

· Run diagnostics on troubled ATMs

· Perform 2nd line and 1st line mechanical and electric repairs on various ATM models with service

zones

· Recording all works

· Ensure adequate and proper supplies are available at each ATM site consistently

· Consistently maintain ATM site cleanliness at each service opportunity

· Ownership and management of inadequate performing ATMs of the fleet to ensure they return to

satisfactory uptime

· Liaise with technician, merchants and third party support groups

· Identify network issues and escalate to management

· Implementing solutions to fleet once a solution is provided

· Work on a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flexi-shifts and on-call

· Be willing to travel to regional areas for overnight stays as well as, on occasion travel to other states

· ATM Field Technician Specific:

o Steady flow of ATM despatch and deployments, removals, exchanges with region

o Following and improving all OH&S and other policies that are implemented

o Reduced transport costs

o Reduce remote service costs

o Accelerated deployment times and customer service standard

o Ongoing and continuous improvement in device uptime above the Availability Benchmark

(currently 99.0%) within region

o Reducing the severity and quantity of recurring faults in fleet

o Establishment of strong relationships with technicians and CCC o Demonstrated ongoing improvement in ATM knowledge o Demonstrated ongoing improvement on cost, quality and customer service o Low maintenance costs o All paperwork and administration completed and actioned in sufficient time frame

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Qualifications

· High Technical aptitude

· Cables license or similar

· Technical ATM qualifications of various makes and models in the ATM industry

Experience

· Extensive Field experience or Second Level Support experience

· 1-2 years in Customer Service role is an advantage

· Experience in the ATM industry is an advantage

· Electric cabling experience

Skills

· Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical repairs

· Project and Time Management skills

· Trained in meeting challenging deadlines

· Excellent communication/presentation skills

· High level of computer literacy (including all MS applications)

· Strong analytical skills and ability to think and plan strategically

· Analytical approach to problem solving

· Attention to detail and disciplined approach
