UGL are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) to join our team based on site in Kwinana, Western Australia. This opportunity will see you join a reputable company with a highly experienced team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customer.

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of a maintenance team to ensure the completion of routine and corrective maintenance in a safe, cost effective and timely manner. The Maintenance Supervisor will maintain strong relationships with the client’s maintenance planning personnel to effectively deliver to client expectations.

The position will also provide support to the Maintenance Delivery Lead in identification and implementation of improvement opportunities across the operation including work and business processes.

About You

You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:

  • Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar environment ideally in Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Maintenance or Brownfield Projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplinary team including sub-contractor engagement
  • Knowledge and prior knowledge of project estimating
  • Experienced with work pack development, planning and scheduling works
  • Experience in delivering continuous improvement ideas and strategies
  • Proven program management
  • Ability to contribute to a high-performing team
  • Experience to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
