Housekeeping Services Assistant – Metro Locations

Resthaven is currently seeking Housekeeping Services Assistants for vacancies across Metropolitan Adelaide at our residential homes. As a Housekeeping Service Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work shifts across either cleaning, kitchen, pantry and laundry. 

The Role

We are looking for compassionate, engaging and energetic Housekeeping Service Assistants, if you are looking for a flexible and rewarding role that requires reliability and enthusiasm then this is the role for you! We have multiple roles, both casual and permanent part-time available. You will have the opportunity to undertake a range of duties either cleaning, laundry or food services. 

As a Housekeeping Service Assistant undertaking food service duties, you will be involved in the preparation and serving of meals and drinks to our residents, and contribute to making meal times an enjoyable part of the resident’s day whilst always complying with food safety requirements.

As a Housekeeping Service Assistant undertaking cleaning or laundry duties you will play an important role in ensuring that all areas, including resident rooms, or resident’s personal clothing, is clean and tidy and in accordance with relevant standards.

Essential Criteria

Ability to work as an effective team member

The ability to comply with safe work practices and food safe handling practices

You respect and value diversity and are committed to maintaining confidentiality.

Your 2022 Influenza vaccination

Full COVID-19 vaccinations including Booster 

Desirable Criteria 

Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role will be an advantage

Experience in housekeeping or safe food handling practices in a service organisation.
