    About the role

    QLS has a full-time and permanent opportunity for a well-organised Senior Events Coordinator to join their Membership and Engagement team who execute a variety of in-person, hybrid and virtual/online events including corporate functions, workshops, conferences, and online sessions to support our QLS events calendar both locally and regionally.

    Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute a high-volume of in-person, virtual and hybrid corporate events including conferences, seminars, workshops, online sessions, special events, corporate functions and social and networking events both regionally and locally.
  • Provide event management services including professional consultancy to all event owners and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage event logistical elements, attendee and presenter communications, expenditure and working event budgets and evaluation reports.
  • Provide support to the Events Manager by contributing to the planning and implementation of QLSs strategic and operational plans in relation to events, as well as in coaching and developing Events Coordinators.
  • About you

  • 5+ Years experience in event management for a range of event formats and delivery methods.
  • Experience using EventsAir (highly desirable) or similar event management technology
  • Experience working for a membership organisation or in the legal industry (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing demands whilst maintaining professionalism, high attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
  • Ability to act as a role model by demonstrating the behaviour and work ethic commensurate with a high functioning events team.
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal communication skills and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Ability to work out of hours and regional travel as required.
  • First aid certificate or ability to obtain one.
