We are hoping to find:

A fantastic permanent full-time opportunity is now available to join us as a  Senior Account Manager at the Canberra Times  based in Canberra.

The role will be focusing on media sales, in particular digital media, meticulous account management and exemplary customer service, with an exciting mix of existing customers & new business.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, an awesome communicator and really cares about building the best client relationships! 

Reporting to the Media Sales Manager you will be responsible for a defined budget, the day-to-day management of the account portfolio and driving new business opportunities across Canberra and the broader ACM footprint. If you have had exposure to CRM based programs this is an advantage however not essential.

Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

Manage client requirements including innovation, timelines & budget expectations

Work with a ‘client-first’ attitude

Proactive in identifying and implementing efficiencies & innovations across the portfolio and wider business

Manage WIP and daily workflow both internally and externally

Ensure information is communicated in a professional and timely manner internally & externally

Have a genuine desire to win new business and grow the ACM customer base

To be successful in the role you will have/be:

Strong Account Manager experience (proven track record)

In-depth knowledge of the the digital media landscape 

Communication – you will not be afraid to start the conversation 

Be customer focused, a positive can-do attitude is key to ensure client satisfaction

Personable, ensuring strong relationships are formed both internally and externally

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Be able to attend sales calls both in person or via Google hangout, as required by management

Drivers License
