    Overview

    An exciting opportunity exists within Research Services for a talented professional with an excellent understanding of the principles of conducting responsible research to join our growing team. The position of Research Governance and Integrity Coordinator will work closely with the Manager, Research Governance and the Research Governance and Integrity Advisor to plan and implement the University’s application of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research to students and supervisors, including strategies to promote research ethics, integrity, research data management and clinical research (including clinical trials). 

    To be successful in this role you will be a highly motivated team player who is able to work with various stakeholders across the University with good project management skills. The successful person will be willing to be able to work flexibly and independently in a dynamic environment and demonstrate initiative whilst knowing when to seek advice. You will be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and manage a broad portfolio of work. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of research, research ethics and research data management.

    The successful applicant will require:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of and ability to interpret the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research and other relevant state and national codes, policies and guidelines;
  • Experience in management of clinical research (including Clinical trials) governance;
  • Experience with implementing policies and processes associated with institutional governance; and
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

    Benefits & Remuneration

    This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $85,551 – $92,301 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
