Warehouse Supervisor – Fenestra

About the position

We now have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor within our Fenestra business, which supplies our other businesses with components such as handles and rollers for our window and door products.

Based in Girraween, the Warehouse Supervisor leads a team of four storepersons in day to day warehouse operations such as receiving, picking and dispatching of orders, as well stock cycle counts. In addition to arranging and scheduling daily picks and arranging shipping, there are also elements of operational performance reporting and ensuring that all activities are conducted on time and in accordance with WHS requirements.

Other duties include:

Driving LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies

Maintaining inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies

Receiving goods into the ERP system and quality checking

Mentoring team members

Communicating and working effectively with other departments to ensure timely fulfilment of orders

About you

We are looking for people with demonstrable previous team leadership experience within a warehouse environment who are able to communicate and collaborate with the broader team. We are also looking for candidates with an understanding of LEAN methodology and experience of implementing their concepts.

You will also have:

Commitment to safe working

Experience using MS Outlook, Excel &Word

Experience using ERP systems

Valid Forklift licence
