About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious Operation Manager to join our talented and innovative Hospitality Team to cover our Cleaning and laundry portfolios.

As the Operations Manager – Cleaning and laundry, your role will be to manage cleaning, laundry and Suppliers and Resident Managers across S/E Melbourne.

Our residents are at the heart of everything we do so you will ensure the systems, process and workforce are driven by operational excellence and fully supported to provide them with the best possible care.

You will report to the GM of Hospitality who is a successful and adaptable leader, passionate about building collaborative leadership teams and challenging ideas and conventional ways of working.

  • Broad expertise in management of cleaning and laundry services in the aged care or health sector
  • Proven ability to manage and lead change within a dynamic environment
  • Broad knowledge of people management and communications
  • Knowledge on safe use of chemicals
  • Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with budgeting and P&L management
  • Experience in identifying process improvements and documenting policies and procedures
  • Proven experience in compliance and budgeting
  • Demonstrated skills in cultural competency and working effectively with a diverse and multicultural team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • What we are looking for in our next Op’s Manager:

  • Experience working in a similar industry is important and highly desirable, as is your ability to manage operations and compliance activity
  • You will have proven leadership experience and be able to influence and make an impact across all levels of the organisation.
  • A solid understanding of what it takes to be a successful leader in Aged Care is required.
  • Authentic in your approach
  • This role requires the ability to adapt to a complex and ever-changing environment, stakeholder management and high levels of self-awareness. Problem-solving will come naturally to you as is a strategic mindset to be a part of shaping the future of BlueCross.
