  • Part-time position (2 days a week)
  • 6 months contract with possible extension
  • The Role

    This is a great part-time opportunity to gain exposure and experience in a knowledge-sharing and collaborative HR environment. Our Administrator will provide support to the HR Manager through a variety of activities such as recruitment, managing compliance, maintaining databases and responding to general queries for our Perth and Brisbane offices.

    This role is also responsible for:

  • End-to-end recruitment process (advertising, short listing and selection of candidates, reference checks, arranging interviews).
  • Onboarding new employees and facilitate documents to payroll.
  • Co-ordinate company inductions both online and face to face.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records.
  • Providing generalist HR support, including assisting with HR queries, grievances, and any other issues.
  • Scheduling and organising training sessions.
  • Assisting with the Graduate program.
  • Managing internal HR communications.
  • Championing HR projects and initiatives to promote a positive culture and staff retention, including coordination, logistics, communication and promotion of Knight Piésold’s staff social functions and internal newsletter.
  • HR reporting, record keeping and other administrative duties.
  • About You

    To succeed in this role, you will be a highly organised administrator with minimum 3 years experience working in a similar role.

    Our ideal candidate will also have:

  • Good knowledge and practical understanding of FW Act and Modern Awards.
  • Prior experience recruiting across international markets (desirable).
  • Ability to use company social media platforms to aid in recruitment processes.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a personable and approachable demeanour.
  • A professional and approachable attitude, and the ability to respond tactfully to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A robust and resilient approach to your work with a can-do attitude and a professional approach.
