The opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will join a passionate, collaborative and supportive team to focus predominately on the sourcing and hiring of volume blue-collar production and maintenance mining talent to support multiple sites throughout Queensland. You will have the pleasure of being based at our beautiful head office located in South Bank or Mackay, liaising with key stakeholders and hiring managers across the business. Therefore, regular travel to site is required. 

Success factors

Proven ability to work under pressure and within a fast-paced environment

Self-motivation and the commitment to deliver for our internal clients (hiring managers and stakeholders) and external clients (potential talent)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well as part of a terrific team

Ability to post advertisements aimed at attracting necessary talent, shortlist candidates, and progress them to interview with a consistent sense of urgency

Facilitation of candidate interviews (we can also coach and develop you to do so!)

Compliance management for a thorough recruitment process

Proactively mobilising candidates by driving organisation of medicals and onboarding

General ad-hoc recruitment administration capabilities (attention to detail a must!)
