Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist with HR Generalist background to join our team in Perth, working as part of our broader Human Resources team in our Australia – Asia region and with a major project focus.  This is a twenty-four-month fixed term contract and will be focused on building the team through recruitment initially and then provide ongoing HR support to a major project as the project team becomes establised.  If you are looking for a new opportunity to enjoy the pace of recruitment and still have the opportunity to apply your HR Generalist skills and knowledge in your role, please get in touch today!

As the successful candidate, you will:

 

  • Source top talent regionally and implement key talent attraction strategies, in partnership with the regional talent acquisition team.
  • Partner with leadership teams on the development and delivery of key talent attraction strategies.
  • Come with an established network of industry contacts, brand awareness, and strategic external partnerships.
  • Have regular engagement with stakeholders, including hiring managers and HR Advisors to review strategic hiring needs and recruiting activities across the region.
  • Support and align with the broader human resources team all processes of mobilization, demobilization and maintenance of personnel assigned to the project.
  • Analyze and suggest improvements of existing work processes, evaluate and implement new practices, aim to meet the growth strategy of the project.
  • Provide overarching HR support to the project and connection back to the brader HR Team at Hatch.
  • Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.

 

You bring to the role:

 

Significant recruiting and/or HR experience, ideally with experience in project engineering or consulting.  Experience with full employment lifecycle with a key focus area in sourcing experience and delivering talent pipelines, with experience supporting major projects preferred.

 

You have an ability to motivate others – demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach with a high level of passion and initiative.  You are client-focused and value high-quality customer service.  You possess strong influencing skills and demonstrate reliability and accountability.  You are comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment where adaptability and the ability to handle ambiguity are key.  Your excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong relationships, while using your business acumen to understand key business drivers and respond accordingly will be key to your success in this role.
