About your new role

As a Recruitment Consultant with ManpowerGroup in the blue collar division, you will be collaborative and courageous towards your work. As part of a diverse team, stakeholder management and relationship building skills are crucial factors for your success in this role. Whether you are advising one of the world’s largest companies on a candidate sourcing strategy, or helping a candidate taking the next step in their career, this is an exciting and rewarding role where you will thrive from the challenges presented to you.  Your daily tasks include: 

  • Develop specialist industry knowledge and expertise within warehousing and manufacturing
  • Develop new business and maintain existing client relationships through a variety of business development techniques
  • Develop and maintain industry networks and your personal brand 
  • Negotiating and closing commercial terms and conditions with clients aligned to company policy
  • Qualifying candidates suitable for current or future vacancies
  • Deliver to client expectations 
  • Accountable for the complete recruitment process with candidates including but not limited to
  • qualifying job specifications, salary information, recording accurate and comprehensive job descriptions and reverse marketing
  • sourcing suitable candidates (pick packers, machine operators, forklift drivers etc) to match specific client needs using such methods such as databases searches, job board advertising and social media networks;
  • providing the most comprehensive information to candidates on clients and job specifications;
  • managing the expectations of candidates;
  • contacting and screening candidates (including telephone and face-to-face interviews), assess work rights, arranging interviews with clients;
  • reference checking and negotiating salaries

We’re looking for

Experienced recruiters (or if you have a background in sales or retail management and are looking to kickstart your career in recruitment then we are also happy to hear from you too). We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate MPG’s values, people, knowledge and innovation in their daily work, the interactions they have and the way they behave in the ManpowerGroup workforce. You will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in 360 temp/perm recruitment (preferable but not essential)
  • Experience within Blue Collar recruitment is (preferable but not essential)
  • Sales and client relationship management experience
  • Ability to introduce and manage innovative staffing solutions
  • Persuasion & influencing skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Communications & presentation skills
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
