JobDescription:

TheExecutive Assistant is responsible for providing specialized,personal, confidential secretarial and administrative assistanceand support to the Education Director, the Local Education Team(LET), Partnerships, Schools and Preschools workgroups, clients andstakeholders.

TheExecutive Assistant is the primary point of contact for internaland external stakeholder including principals, preschool directors,school and preschool staff, parents and state-wide supportservices, key state government agencies ad Department for Educationnon-government partners. The position is required to providecomplex and comprehensive day to day quality responses whichrequire high levels of time management, whilst supporting theachievement of broader Partnerships, Schools and Preschoolsdivision goals and objectives.

Theposition is required to contribute to the delivery and maintenanceof efficient and effective work practices within the Partnerships,Schools and Preschools divisions.

Qualifications:

Desirable: An appropriate tertiary qualification

SpecialConditions:

Thesuccessful applicant is required to gain a Department for HumanServices (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to beingemployed which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect -Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course orthe online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to beupdated every three years.

Remuneration:

ASO3:$65,606 – $69,919
