Job Description

We have a newly created position available for a proactive and organised Team Assistant to join our Development team based at the Victoria Cross project, North Sydney – site based role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and successful group of people working on one of Sydney’s most iconic projects.

As the new Team Assistant, you’ll have the freedom to make this role your own. You’ll be responsible for the day to day running of the office in North Sydney, you’ll also get to have fun and become a valued member of the team. We are looking for someone who can commit to being at the project site office for a minimum 4 days per week.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively gain an understanding of the Project team’s priorities and commitments
  • Diary management – arrange and maintain electronic diary including scheduling
  • Managing the site office and leasing suite
  • Arranging meetings, booking meeting rooms, facilities, equipment, and catering
  • Organise and coordinate meetings and manage the monthly Project Calendar
  • Process expenses & purchase orders
  • Promote a positive working relationship with internal/external colleagues
  • Collect and distribute incoming/outgoing mail
  • Attend team meetings as required
  • We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience as a Team/Personal Assistant, Administrator or have an Events background
  • Great attention to detail
  • The ability to work within a busy team and to competing deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to take initiative
  • A confident level of Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Outgoing, friendly, fun and professional nature
