The Opportunity:

We currently have an entry level opportunity available within our Canberra office for an Operations Assistant to join on a permanent basis.

Joining as the Operations Assistant you’ll be responsible for;

  • Front of house and facilities support; booking meeting rooms, meeting and greeting clients/visitors
  • Courier & Mail services; collect and sort mail, arrange outgoing local/interstate couriers
  • Maintaining office supplies; order stationary, ensure resources are in working order
  • This opportunity will provide you with experience and exposure to the fundamentals of working within a top tier global law firm. Development within the role will be supported by the Operations Supervisor.

    Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Excellent personal presentation and telephone manner
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality
  • Security Clearance: the successful candidate must be able to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance at Baseline Vetting Level. You must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information. You must be an Australian citizen and have lived in Australia, or have a checkable background, for at least the preceding five years for Baseline Vetting clearances. More information on the security clearance vetting process is available on the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) website.
