    The Women’s and Children’s Hospital provides state of the art health care for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.

    We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions and SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service. We also provide important community-based services.

    Each year, more than 30,000 people are admitted and about 5000 babies are born at the hospital. In addition more than 250,000 people come to the hospital as outpatients.

    At the Women’s and Children’s Hospital a dedicated team of people in Food Services provide food and beverages in the Gilbert and Nic Nath Cafe’s to employees, patients and their families. We have an exciting opportunity for Casual Cafe Assistants to join our team.

    The WCHN Cafe Assistants are responsible to the Cafe Team Leaders and Retail Manager for the day to day operations of the Gilbert and Nic Nath Cafe including food and beverage preparation, customer service, Barista coffee making, cash handling, and maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment. All duties need to be performed in compliance with the department’s Food Safety Plan.
