For the successful Barista Professionals you MUST be experienced and would be able to work under pressure where you will be working in a cafe serving visitors, patients and staff at Flinders Medical Centre . You will be employed on a Perm Part Time basis working 20++ hours per week .

General responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of food and beverages to customer expectations;
  • Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard recipes;
  • Manage the daily service of food and beverages to customers throughout the day;
  • Ensure all areas are fully stocked during services periods, including food items, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables;
  • Maintain stock levels including stock takes;
  • Ensure all cash handling is accurate and is in line with the cash handling process.
  • Minimum Criteria:

  • Barista experience is ideal, but happy to train for the right candidate 
  • COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements.
  • Your Availability will be Monday to Friday , including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.Previous experience in a similar role within a health care facility is highly desirable
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months is  essential  for ALL roles
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential for ALL Roles
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Genuine interest in working with can caring for people
  • Willingness to train and work in various departments of a health care facility
  • Willingness to own and maintain a  smart phone
