“The Commie”, Clermont’s social and event hub, seeks an experienced Venue Manager to join the team. It is boosting multiple bars, a beer garden, gaming room and offering some of the best live bands in Clermont. This tremendous local bar is perfect for someone that enjoys working in a great local community.

The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

What’s on Offer:

Fantastic salary $95,000 – $100,000+Plus Super

Quarterly KPI Bonus $44,000

Essential requirements:

3+ years in a Venue Manager role

Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business

Have a solid financial understanding of wage costing & P&Ls

Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends

Write and control an effective roster

Ability to stocktake and investigate the stock loss

Order and maintain par levels within the beverage department, food department and venue consumables

Train, performance manage, and motivate staff

Recruit and induct new staff members into the business

Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team

Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
