  • Permanent full-time role, based from Melbourne, Wodonga or Bathurst.
  • Mars Petcare Australia , home to market leading brands like Pedigree, Dine and Whiskas, are looking for a Factory Activity Manager (Project Manager) to join our team based in either Melbourne, Wodonga, or Bathurst.

    You will be accountable for ensuring the factory and market requirements are met & understood for product development, innovation, and product specification change projects.

    You’ll have responsibility for market cross functional resources assigned and then manage in accordance with business processes and standards, to ensure timely delivery of project initiatives.

    What would be your key responsibilities? 

  • Ensure projects are both on-time and delivered in full; risk and quality management will be utilised throughout the project to ensure it remains aligned to business strategy.
  • Manage the execution of the factory specific elements of market projects through the stage gate process, in line with agreed timings.
  • Develop, maintain, communicate, and enforce timelines on Business Activities.
  • Work directly with your corresponding Market Activity Manager based here in Australia and overseas.
  • Develop detailed project timelines (including risk mitigation strategies) in order deliver in full.
  • Inspire, motivate, and engage project team members throughout the projects.
  • Manage/guide issue resolution process.
  • Establish and maintain process for assessing key project learnings and ensuring they are built to the future projects
  • Utilise S&OP+ framework of feeder meetings to provide guidance to the broader site team around project risks and opportunities.
  • What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor/ Master’s Degree – preferably project management, International Logistics, IT, Finance
  • Proven experience in a logistics, project management (within FMCG company desirable)
  • Understanding of project management & understanding of international business.
  • Understanding of planning and forecasting processes.
  • You will have a passion for building strong relationships with key internal & external stakeholders, suppliers and customers
