About the opportunity 

You’ll join our Peopleteam — the team that provides expertise and support to our five business verticals. Working hand in hand with internal stakeholders, you’ll help them overcome obstacles by understanding their goals and challenges. You’ll enable them to focus on what really matters – helping our teams reach their full potential.

Reporting into Senior HR Manager – APAC, you’ll help us with a mix of operational & transaction HR tasks as well as getting to work on key global projects: Area’s that you will get involved and take responsibility for include: policy review, management support, lT, administration, performance management, ER and HR reporting. The HR Advisor will equally provide locally based support, as required, to the Centre of Excellence teams to deliver and embed strategic programs in the region.

Some of the other responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees in and on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution and off-boarding
  • Support people leaders and Xplorers in the interpretation of and adherence to the Xplor policies, terms and conditions and/or appropriate industrial and individual agreements. 
  • Provide advice, coaching, feedback and report on progress to people leaders against the Xplor performance appraisal system Grow, Perform, Support (GPS), making recommendations, if necessary. 
  • Act as the conduit for timely and accurate delivery of People processes and programs, liaising with multiple stakeholders and internal teams where needed.
  • Participation in end-to-end people processes and administrative duties, with a focus on creating positive employee experience and make recommendations where change is necessary. 
  • Managing our HR Information System and People SharePoint folders for the ANZ region, acting as a local subject matter expert, striving for data integrity, accurate and complete records, and regular meaningful reports. 
  • Contribute to a Make Life Simple People service by assisting the APAC People team identify, establish, improve and maintain processes. 
  • Own and drive People related projects and programs based on stakeholder needs and requests
  • Be proactive with ideas to improve the employee experience and work towards employer of choice best practices 
  • Qualifications

    What would make me a good candidate?

  • Significant experience in generalist People/HR roles
  • A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and effectively contribute to a team environment 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen awareness of maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting work relationships with people at different levels, including senior staff members Sound planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities 
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail 
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic critical thinker with a practical outlook
  • Proactive, ambitious and operates with a high sense of urgency

    Additional Information

    For this position, we offer a hybrid and flexible working model, where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week in the office and the rest is your choice to work in the office or work from home,
