Their Sorrento precinct stretches across one acre of hospitality space, and includes seven restaurants and bars, as well as multiple world-class function and events spaces and an opulent pool deck.

Job Description

As part of the Sales and Events Team, the Event Planner is responsible for event management, lead management, quoting, and event planning. A high level of attention to detail, professionalism and autonomy is critical. General areas of accountability are coordinator of social and corporate events, developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, event logistics and high-level communication skills

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous extensive experience in an event operations role responsible for large scale events including corporate and social functions
  • Experience managing a team across multiple sites
  • An understanding of key financial metrics , particularly labour
  • The ability to create a cohesive and effective team and instil a strong and balanced culture
  • Experience in liaising with the operations team to ensure high quality set up an delivery for every event
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • A good food and beverage knowledge

    This fantastic role is offering a salary of $75-80,000 plus super depending on candidate experience.
