Your new role
We want to hear from applicants of Indonesian (or similar) background with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant Social Science who are living in Perth and have links to the Indonesian-Muslim community.

Specifically, we are seeking someone with:

Proficient Indonesian language skills (spoken and written)

Social research skills

Experience in undertaking ethnographic research, including interviewing participants and conducting textual analysis.

Organisational skills

You will be required to work with the Principal Investigator of the project and engage in:

Liaison with the community

Participant observation at community events such as festivals and gatherings.

Setting up and undertaking interviews, including translating and transcribing, and analysis.

Collecting and analysing written documents associated with the Indonesian-Muslim community.

Please note you will require current work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
